Had another table fan parallel to the floor but it could not cool down the area-this Hurricane fan is amazing. Buying another one to mount in a garage. "It’s a nice fan. Lighter and quieter than the older types. I’ll be buying more. Our temps have been over 100. This one is used on the floor in the living room during the day (dogs lay in front of it). Once the ocean breeze comes up in the evening, it goes in an open window to draw the cool air in. Fits nice on a window sill. We have the fancy tower fans but the box fans work the best…Works great."

"Been using this just about everyday for a year and a half now. Originally I bought 1 for my son’s room since the circulation upstairs isn’t that great. I got the 16” fan and this cools down an entire 12’ x 10’ room in a matter of minutes! It’s hung up on the wall and not heavy at all, so I’m not worried it’ll just rip off the wall even while it’s in use. Quality is top notch, this isn’t the cheapy fans you find at Walmart. I actually came back to this specific fan because I’m expecting soon and I’m about to buy a second one for the other bedroom upstairs, & again the air flow upstairs is just horrible but I know with this fan my newborn will be breathing easy in a nice cool room in no time!"
